The Howl Experience Retreat
Transformative art stems from transformative experiences. Thanks to a micro-grant from The Howl Experience, we spent five days at The Deanery Project in Eastern Nova Scotia exploring community, sustainability, and storytelling inspired by nature and diverse cultures.
Partnering with The Deanery Project, Everyone Everyday Halifax, and The Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History, we planted trees, repaired structures, shared conversations, and embraced Indigenous knowledge through “two-eyed seeing.” This retreat deepened our commitment to sustainable, collaborative creative spaces. Grateful to all involved, we look forward to sharing new work that fosters connection and change.
