An Evening with Sophie Lukacs

We were honoured to welcome Sophie Lukacs for her debut performance in Halifax for an unforgettable evening of music, storytelling, and cultural connection.

Sophie is a Hungarian-born, Malian-trained kora player, singer, and songwriter, one of the few women in the world to master the traditional West African instrument. Joined by two exceptional musicians, her trio wove together melodies rooted in Hungary and Mali, sharing stories through sound with a heartfelt audience at Driftwood Coastal Dinner.
