The workshop was finalized with interconnected colorful threads between artworks exhibited in a community event/art exhibition at The Garden Retreat.

We invited independent professional artists, local arts & culture organizations like Immigration Museum of Pier 21, Visual Arts of Nova Scotia, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Nocturne Festival, & others. Every guest & participant enjoyed the evening with live performances from professional musicians, along with great food from the venue.

The project gave newcomer artists the confidence to share their work with the world, a circle of other artists to connect & the head start emerging artists need to present their work in front of professionals, removing the barrier to becoming established artists in Halifax.
