Synopsis
See Different, a national youth education initiative of the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, invited youth across Canada to share their vision of diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and ReconciliACTION through its first national Sticker Design Contest, asking entrants to turn those values into a single, shareable image.
For the Diversity category, Nahom created 7th Level of Creation, inspired by the sacred Mi'kmaw Creation Story as shared by Elder Stephen Augustine, depicting Glooscap meeting Mother Earth in a vibrant palette symbolizing belonging and the interdependence of all life.
The design won the Diversity category and was revealed at CCDI's first-ever See Different Changemaker Summit, a national virtual event held on September 20, 2025. The contest's success led See Different to make it an annual tradition, and the sticker was distributed across CCDI's national network.
