Nahom’s animation clip from Landed to Takeoff
Landed to Takeoff Short Animated Film by 2025 NOISEmakers
Nahom, Founder of the studio, collaborated with newcomer artists through the 16-week NOISEmaker Program to create Landed to Takeoff, a short animated film exploring belonging and grounding as newcomers in Canada.
Nahom contributed visual development and animation, and led the editing and final assembly, bringing each artist’s story together into one cohesive narrative. The film premiered at Rogers Square in Downtown Halifax during Nocturne 2025. Audiences and staff claimed the short as one of the best projects of the year festival.
